Greetings all

It's been some years since I've ridden up at Wisemans Ferry on the old northern road track and remember it being quite rocky and technical in parts.

With all the other trails such as The Oaks being graded and smoothed out. Has the same been done with Wisemans ? Or is it still quite rough in places?

Wanting to ride there again soon!
Thanks
Tom

... rode through from the top of Shepperd's Gully to the top of the descent into Ten Mile Hollow during the Convict race up there at the end of April. There has been a little smoothing at the Wiseman's end, but the rest is still pretty much as it was when they closed it to vehicles back in the 90's. Just after the Convict would have been a pretty good time to ride it, as there was a well worn traffic line after a few hundred riders had been through in a day, but with all the weather since it will be a little harder to pick the lines through the rock gardens.

Thanks for the update. May hit the trail this weekend if the weather stays good. !

I rode it from Sheppards Gully all the way to the dirt road a couple if weeks ago. Still rocky with plenty of step ups to work your core. Easily passible with all trees and shrubs cutback off the track. Finish off with a dirt road blast to The Settlers Arms pub for a beer and you've got a great day on the bike
