Had a fairly major crash six weeks ago that resulted in a broken elbow. Still some time till full recovery but want to make sure I have some good elbow and knee pads for when I can ride again. I focus on endurance rides so really looking for something comfortable and not bulky. Any recommendations? Thanks

I have no ride experience yet but the Fox Launch Enduro pads my son have are pretty damn comfy just testing at home.

A few of the local enduro boys all use the same ones and do plenty of k's with them and no complaints. I do plan on getting a set myself, just haven't got around to it yet.

I use these, and have done the Epic at Buller with them on- Knee and Elbow. make sure you try them on to get the right fit. also note that these are abrasion not impact, so a hard hit may still have the same outcome as you have now. saved me plenty of grazes etc, still sometimes bruise up.

Fox also do a new line called the Fox Launch Pro D3O. which have removable outer impact plastics, and also have D3O which remains flexible in its normal state but hardens instantaneously when you impact an object. may not be as comfortable over long distance, but up to you to accept the trade off.
