NSW All Schools XC MTB Championship
There's a car park (click for foggy picture) on Springwood Road - just down the way from Hawkesbury Heights if you're looking for a suburb name.
The 4th JetBlack NSW All Schools MTB Championship for High School teams will be held at Yellomundee on Sunday 17 June 2012. The race is presented by NSW MTB and hosted by Western Sydney MTB Club.

Mugga Hill 1 Hour (Dubbo)
The first dirt road from Dubbo on the south side (right) as you get to Mugga Hill. Marked as Start/Finish on the map.
1 Hour Cross Country race at Mugga Hill.
Rego from 10am.
Bald Hill (Geurie) - Geurie Time Trial Race
The Track head is at the south-western end of Chambers St at Geurie.
July's race is a Time Trial format (designed to be similar to a roadies time trial, except every rider gets up to 3 shots, not consecutive but rotational. It'll be on the smaller yellow loop (3.5km) with distances signposted and plenty of time to recover so should see some very fast times.
Rego from 9, racing from 1030.
Bald Hill (Geurie) - 1 Hour XC race
The Track head is at the south-western end of Chambers St at Geurie.
A 1 Hour race on the Quarry loop.

CWORBC - Kinross Club XC Race
The city of Orange is around 4 hrs from Sydney and 3 hrs from Canberra. Kinross State Forest is situated on the northeast edge of town, a 10 minute drive or 20 minute ride from the Orange town centre.
Meet at the Bulgas Road carpark, Western edge of the forest.
Club XC race. Come and warm up in the forest!

We have decided on the track for this weekends race. This course will cater well for all levels of riders, from juniors to elite.
The track is 2-3km long. You'll have options for the number of laps to complete.
The start will be at the near the top of the 'North Shore' track. When you arrive at the forest on Bulgas Rd, keep following Bulgas Rd past the 'normal' car park to the top of the hill then turn left. There is room to park along the fire trail there, the start/finish will be about 50m from Bulgas Rd. Note the meeting point link in google maps above.
Description of the provisional track:
- Berm Me Up Scotty in reverse
- Goat Track Extension in reverse (to dead pig dam)
- Bogan's run in reverse (downhill)
- back up the fire road to the start/finish.

Hi all - we're hoping that the weather will be OK for this Sunday, 1 April and that we will finally be able to get a race in at Yellomundee.
All welcome! Rego from 8am to 8.50 (so we can start U13s at 9am). Seniors race at 9.30am.

Sorry all - another cancellation. We did a track inspection this arvo (Sat 17th) - but after 22mm of rain on Friday night there was more water GUSHING down the tracks than on the previous Sunday when we did some track work.
So, the message is - please stay off Yellomundee for a while longer!
