Details:

Club XC race. Come and warm up in the forest!

See here for info about our races.

We have decided on the track for this weekends race. This course will cater well for all levels of riders, from juniors to elite.

The track is 2-3km long. You'll have options for the number of laps to complete.

The start will be at the near the top of the 'North Shore' track. When you arrive at the forest on Bulgas Rd, keep following Bulgas Rd past the 'normal' car park to the top of the hill then turn left. There is room to park along the fire trail there, the start/finish will be about 50m from Bulgas Rd. Note the meeting point link in google maps above.

Description of the provisional track:
- Berm Me Up Scotty in reverse
- Goat Track Extension in reverse (to dead pig dam)
- Bogan's run in reverse (downhill)
- back up the fire road to the start/finish.

Thinking of coming up on Sunday. Do you have a kids track as part of the corse? My 10 year old has been racing with us at Rydal and is keen to try a different track. How much of the Single track mind corse do you use.

Hi Barnsy, recently we've been running about a 4km course up 'TTT' (the first part of the STM course), up a small fire road, and then down the 'North Shore track' (the last part of the STM course).

I'm not 100% sure about this weekend though. I'll get some info from the one who will be running it.

Cool, the two best bits. I'll defiantly be there. Still working on the rest of the family but though. Could be one or three of us.

Barnsy, we have decided on a track that actually doesn't include TTT and North Shore. See the updated description above. It will still be a fun course, be suitable for everyone and will give variety to our regulars.

Note too that the start/finish is up the hill away from the car park.
