Heading back to the car from the Dam we turned left just before this cause way to take an alternate route towards Wellesley Road/Trail which we had parked our car near the gate on Woodford Ave.

Fallen Tree on downhill at end of Winbourne Road Trail

NB: Originally posted elsewhere on the Global Riders Network and appears via syndication.

Coming down Winbourne Rd Trail, there was some uphill climbs, but was mostly downhill runs with plenty of speed humps. I enjoyed this ride so much. Just the one fallen tree upset a great ride (only a little bit)

Approaching the Dam from Winbourne Road.
Very fast and full of speed humps. Made for some good jumps.

Blue Mountains?

NB: Originally posted elsewhere on the Global Riders Network and appears via syndication.

I'm in the blue mountains this weekend and wondering if:
(a) anyone is keen for a ride on sat morning around 0830 start?
OR
(b) any advice on where to go for a fun technical ride with a few hills etc. Around 2-4 hour ride?

Any info is appreciated at this very late notice.
You can drop me a line at ben@mesurf.com.au

Thanks
Ben

Ben - steep descent

A technical single trail that complements the Oaks in the Blue Mountains. This trail is either an out and back, about 8km each way. Or an out leg towards a cliff escarpment with an extremely technical descent that is hike-a-bike only (eg. you have to carry your bike down and out the other side), about 20km in total.
