Details:
OK, it's time for a GHS night ride methinks. Meet in the car park at the front of the Winmalee shopping centre for a 1900hrs start.
Along Hawkesbury Rd to Halcyon St for the sniggle before the fire trail. Out to the lookout at Grose Head South (to enjoy the view in the darkness), and then down Bees Nest Hill into the swamp, for the ascent up to Whitecross Rd and back to the shops. Lovely.
All abilities welcome, as pace will be social-ish.

I just got back from doing this ride - the track is in pretty good nick.
The single track has held up very well but I guess we haven't had much rain really - really grippy. The firetrail out to GHS has been carved up a bit by dirt bikes - the worst I've seen out there so far and there are a couple of sandy patches to look out for. It was grippy but felt slow and dead - I actually stopped to check that I didn't have a brake rubbing and that the wheels were spinning freely because it was just hard to keep going at a decent rate.
Some of the corners going down Bee's nest have been totally carved up by the dirt bikes and even down through Blue Gum so be a little weary going down the hill.
The climb back up to the end of White Cross is as annoying as ever - not particularly long, not partically steep, not particularly technical, not particularly hard and not particularly fun - just annoying.
Have fun, I cant make this one but will make a night ride soon.
