Hi, Fitting XTR cranks followed intructions - just want to double check I did it right.
I have a 68m bottom bracket so I put the two spacers on the drive side and one on the left - with the crank arm fitted there is a gap between crank arm and bearing - doesn't look right i.e. will let dirt in - and what does that adjustment nut do that sits inside the crank arm?
Thanks

What size spindle did you get?

There shouldn't be an obvious gap.

as they are very different.

Specify the model before anyone can help you.

Hi, Thanks - found the answer and detailed intructions ( the shimano ones are basic) - looks like the adjusment nut is key.
