I was thinking ... is there a similar place in the Mt Tomah gardens.
I have no idea what all that land is surrounding it, but my head started spinning ... Or is there stuff out there already ... I'm from Sydney ... I only know Northern Beaches and Menai innit

Mt Tomah is more like the Sydney Botanical Gardens than Mt Annan. It is their cooler climate botanical garden. So while it is a pretty place for tourists it also has its main use as a garden resource..
It also isn't very big in area wrt to cycling. Its only a small pootle of a walk to walk all around it and it is quite far from everywhere.
Stunning spot but I don't think a suitable place for a track....
