Cleaned Up Section of trail

Well i have been busy lately, getting this bit of track into rideable condition, it has fallen into disrepair from moto riders and bushwalkers not keeping it in condition, it is at the upper end of technical riding, lot of rock drops and rock shutes, it has an elevation drop of about 70 metres over a distance of about 200 metres, which makes it very steep, here are some photos, i wont disclose the location until it is finished and rideable!
I have not had to do anything but sweep and trim, a fair bit of damage had occure with moto riders carving the place up, so with walkers and riders co-operating this might come into fruition!

That would be a great help, if this place works out it will be sooo good!..heading out on saturday for some maintenance!!!

This wouldn't be at the end of a road starting with 'I' and ending in 'worth' heading toward a river is it? I've tried riding it once before and it was pretty bad.

If so, let me know what time your heading out. I'm tied up in the morning I think but ill see what I can do.

Ian, that's the old bridle track. It is a shit of a ride but it's a good way to get to Emu without riding on the highway. A mate who used it to ride to work used to maintain it, but those days are gone. It used to take him about 2 minutes from top to bottom on his Reign. It is an integral part of the "'Trig Point" circuit, and has been known to be the breaking point for the less adventurous.

I reckon you would've ridden past Todd's section of trail a hundred times but never detoured down there. It is a techy ride and doesn't finish very pleasantly, so hopefully Todd has some big plans!

You are right John Paul, i have cleaned it up pretty good, i will speak to you guys in person about it, i will take you down there Ian, it is not very noticable even when detouring there, i have seen heaps of tracks end where it starts getting techy, they just dont explore it, i am going out Saturday morning if you want to come with!..ring me on 47544878, if i can link it up it will be awesome but extremely hard, i have ridden app: 20 metres of it so far, with heart in mouth and nobody around if anything went wrong!
Trig ride soon boys
New bike in 3 weeks....ggggrrrrrr!

I'd be keen too Todd! My fitness is just coming back now that the commuter is seeing more action! the fabled trig ride is something I definitely want to get in on!

Tied up this weekend though, but would love to help out if I could.

Yeah the trig will be coming up soon, pack a lunch and whooshka, off we go, might get you to come and have a look at what i am trying to do, any advice will be great!

No Worries mate. Am happy to look at it with a fresh set of eyes (although how much help I'll be I'm not sure Smiling )

I've got both the inlaws and my parents up at our place tomorrow morning for a bit of a fairwell before my olds go travelling round the countryside for a few months again.
So unfortunately I'm out until around lunchtime.
I will eventually come and help with some maintenance Todd I promise!
