The NPWS are looking at organising a meeting on their discussion paper that was launched by the National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) on mountain biking in the state’s national parks and reserves. So from an email today from Melissa Giese.

"If there is sufficient interest, such a meeting would be held either at Blackhealth or Glenbrook, in late September or early October. You can register your interest in having a face to face discussion with NPWS on mountain biking by phoning (02) 4784 7300."

So please lets try and get enough people calling and registering interest in this meeting. It would be a great thing to be able to talk to the NPWS face to face about this discussion paper.

Perhaps we can meet them as a collective rather than individuals, and yes I would be keen, but still think it would be best to meet them as BMORC.

Agree ... we should all be thinking that we are BMORC reps.

BMORC is a collective, and you all represent Blue Mountains Off Road Cyclists.

ironically, the image of the rag tag group from the 29th June just appeared in my random images Smiling

Agreed, we should approach this as a collective. Ultimately it will BMORC and members that are likely to assist with any planning, trail building and maintenance, unless the government gives them a heap of cash.

Agreed, we should go in as a group who already started a relationship with the NPWS that looks after Yarramunde etc. etc...

I'm interested. Back home next week so good timing.

Called, Registered, and awaiting further information. I definitely agree we should get as many BMORC'ers as we can, and approach this with long-term BMORC goals in mind.
