But I'm actually taking Regina out to Scribblies right now to show her what riding on a nice trail is all about, before we hit the Japanese joint in Leura for lunch.

You'll be slumming it in Leura with the all the terrorists, sorry, tourists Jim.......

BM Epic's picture

Have you got your passport Jim?
Cant wait to see the boys...oh yeah!!!

Flynny's picture

Very keen but extremely doubtful I can make it at this stage.... be nice to see it in daylight.

Weather's not looking so good for this one.
Lucky I got my dose this morning.

We still on for this one Andy?, been smashing down all day at Winmalee!

Vinno's picture

I'm going anyway.

Andy Bloot's picture

Rain's been pretty heavy
But seems to have eased a little
Most of the trail drains pretty well
So hopefully not too wet tonight

O.K. is the consensus is we are on?..will check on the computer in the morning!

I've tried to be optimistic
But we've had a drenching and it's raining heavily again now

Scribbs drains well, but not that well
My yard is a swamp and it drains quite well too
I don't think it's worth it unfortunately

Was really looking forward to this
Bummer guys

Ian_A's picture

Was looking forward to this one, its been a while since I've been on a BMORC ride too...... probably the last scribblies ride.

Oh well, hopefully Ando's Oak's is a goer.

Gilbo's picture

Hey, shame about the weather. Looking forward to a (hopefully) dry weekend next week.

BM Epic's picture

Next week guys, just too much rain yesterday!
Ian, we are planning the GHS/Trig ride soon, so will let you know on that one, Andy and Giles, you's will be interested to do this one as well, i am just waiting on my bike before i organise the trig!

Sounds good Todd.

I'm nursing my finger at the moment after dislocating it riding up near Forster last Mon, but I did Shaw's/Bluegum on Fri night and it was ok. Another few days and I should be sweet, just struggling to use the front brake at the moment.

I'm looking forward to this Trig ride, you've talked it up!

You might hate me after it, it is a long day, with lots of carrying and climbing, getting back up singles ridge via the bridle track is bad enough!
We will need to set aside a full day to do it and also take food as well!
But it's one of those once every so often do tracks, every mtb'er in the mountains should do this at least once!...very very few people ever set foot on this one!
