MItchells Pass

Just got this email form a mate regarding Mithchell's Pass

Hi All

I don't know if you are in the habit of riding down Mitchells Pass (Lennox Bridge) but if you are, be aware that there is an extremely big tree which has fallen and totally blocked the road about 200 metres from the end at the old highway. Its' only just around the two left hand sweepers at the bottom.
I came around the left hand sweepers this morning at rapid rate of knots ( I'm trying to get from my place to the freeway in under 11 minutes) only to be confronted with the thing as I exited the corners. I managed to stop just as the front wheel touched the outer branches. ( I kid you not).

Be careful if you ride down there and warn anyone you know that might ride down there.
As I say the road is totally blocked by the beast, you can't ride around it at all."
