Todd's Old Narrowneck Crash Photos - Warning there is a bit of blood.

Digging through old photos I stumbled upon these of Todd's sometimes mentioned Narrow Neck crash that he still has some niggling issues from.

This was after jumping the second waterbar on the first descent with water bars. Measured from lip to start of crash skid it was something like 40ft, (I measured with my 12" long 5-10 shoe).

The wounds are from scraping along the nice gravelly ground for 50ft like a rag doll.

.... and yes as you are all wondering, the bike was fine.

About 60 seconds before the crash Todd said to me "Don't feel great tonight, I think I will take it real easy".

I like the last pic because it reminds of an Australian painting I can't quite remember though what it is called.

The legendary and rarely seen Spanky Ham( aka Scott), what a laugh, i still have issues with my hand from that, it was a fun ride back to the car with Mog, those were the days, Rod and Mim on the tandem!
