Train arrives Wenty Falls 7:40am
Keep the noise down as you roll past my place!
Bloody cassette body I need a hope or something mega ratchety lol
Took off from Wenty Falls at 740am then smashed it all the way to leonay, no stops, except for filling water at Woodford, and then again at the ranger station, got some awesome footage, seen a wallaby, a pidgeon, 2 cats and a couple of birds, passed heaps of riders and scared 2 cyclists that were heading up the twitter trail backwards when i encountered them i was doing 40 they were doing 5 it was close i will put up the video lol
You don't need a loud ratchet. A Mick Cronin footy card in the rear spokes will do the trick (Go Parra!). Heaps of mtbers coming out of the NP around lunchtime. It's good to see.
All the wildlife sounds like our backyard. Minus the cats. Strangely I haven't seen any cats in our neighbourhood for a good long while. HMMMM.
The secret to cooking with meow meat is slow braising, either that or put a stone in the pot with your feline and when the rocks soft! lol
That's some calories you burn there
Crikey!
So what is the lowest gear ratio you ever drop to?
I am a cadence man, I spin comfy between 80 and 95 and can do it all day long, I only spped up to get started on real steep climbs or when i am winding out a gear in a sweeper where changing might upset the handling.
I some times get in the granny like climbing out of bedford creek, but only on the apex most of the time i will be middle and lowest, some times, i will hit granny 2 down from lowest but usually I only do that when i am going to dump back into Middle ring.
If you ever watch me ride you will see i spin my crank pretty much the same speed all day, I dont like loading my legs up unless I am doing it for strength training some rides i go one i stay in the big ring all day.
That seems a lot, doesnt it u reckon them GPS are accurate I had fruit and yoghurt for brekky and a coffee no sugar, on the ride I had about 5 snakes, and i had endurance maltodextrin type stuff in my water I drank 7 litres, I didnt pig out when I got home a couple of peanut butter sangas, had roast for dinner, oh and the missus made me eat dessert but I was already chokkas! lol I think she is trying to fatten me up
What happened to the garmin recording? Did you stop it at the helipad and forget to start it again?
Total elapsed time of 3 hrs is very good. I had a total elapsed time of 8hrs when I rode from Wenty to kingswood.
