Won't be able to make 8am kick off so will be starting from Tallwood Drive at 8.30am with some friends. Hopefully catch up on the trail.
I have a black 575. If you didn't know, the trail fairies have been out and about 10m on your right after the entrance to the single trail under power lines. Will be great once bedded in, give it a try. Hope to see you on the trails.
Stu.

looks like we might be lucky weatherwise for sunday ,how does lake Parra hold up after rain ?

Scottboy's picture

to tell you the truth Craig I was there on Saturday & I came home & gave my bike a good wash , as there was water still standing & running on the trails , I shouldn't have ridden it my wallet will find out sooner then later

hey Guys,

Given the current weather over the past week - RAIN and lots of it.
I would be a little hesitent with riding the lake.

it's only a matter of time before the rangers or council stop turning a blinde eye.

we have a great local trail network, and would be great to have it for another 15 years and beyond.

just take a look at how bad the Dam trail is, yes it gets a lot more traffic then the lake. but its only a matter of time.
if you want to have local trails into the future, just think about it before clipping in.

cheers,

I have been tossing up what to do and I reckon you are right so I will can this ride ,

Typically the lake is much better off after rain then the Dam. It might have better run off or something.
i too have seen the new tracks from the tower, they are in a area which see's very little traffic from all users i would guess.

But at the same time, it only takes 1 rider to go over the hangers brake a collar bone and the place gets shut down.
