Sorry about the muttering... thought my hydation pack strap ends were somehow catching on my saddle.

Interested to hear your thoughts on the repairs to the drains on the section parallel to Southern Cross Way. I don't do a great job of disguising mine... Sticking out tongue Eye-wink

Regardless, it's still one of my favourite parts of the loop and it doesn't ever get old. Enjoy! Smiling

Tip: If you start this in a new tab on the Contour site, you'll also get the GPS trace.

Is that the rocks that overlayed the drainage with?
If thats the case, that is a pretty poor attempt at rectifying it.

I havent ridden the Dam in months but last I heard that whole section was graded.
Glad that it isnt the case as thats my favourite part of the circuit...

@willy, yep that was me in the long sleeve jersey. Sorry I wasn't more sociable - was feeling the effort a bit, even though it was only a 50-minute (ie slow) lap. Need to ride the dam more often. The road you guys departed on is the road I normally ride in on. My second lap felt easier for some reason.

@flubber, yes you got it re: the rubble. And it has something like carpet over the rocks on the riding line. One piece of it has been ripped loose already.

Loving this bike. With the platform engaged on the rear and the fork locked out, it flies up the smooth climbs.

@Jono, I've got more to come, of the Golf Course singletrack . Smiling

Nice one!

What does 'graded' mean?

with a big yellow toy. Usually either a bulldozer or a grader. Sad

So effectively flattening everything then! Nice work on the videos... haven’t ridden the damn in awhile nice to get a heads up on the changes before hitting it again... Hankering for a ride once the entire NSW share of rainfall stops pouring on Sydney!
