Hi-Vis BMORC Shirts?

What do you guys think about the idea of Hi-Vis BMORC logo shirts?
Havent done the math or got a quote but would be roughly looking at $30 per shirt for mininumum of 30 shirts.
To save on screen printing costs it would be best to go with one colour (Blue).

I personally don't like the high vis, the last run of BMORC T's were pretty good.
Hi VIS for trail work great idea part of the PPE the trail workers will need.
Would hi-vis vests be easier ? Can be a "club" asset ... and just hand out at any BMORC do.
Vests make sense and are certianly a lot cheaper than T's. Tim was your idea to use them for trail work?
Yes, intended purpose was to wear on track work days. Should be alot coming up soon!
Personally I prefer to wear shirts. I have a dislike for vests.
The idea of a BMORC Hi-vis Shirt is not just for PPE but also showing some pride in what you are doing.
I don't think the Kit will work, if you pay for something you will want your own. Plus with a kit takes extra organisation to get it to the site especially when the holder can not make it.
It would need something like "I Dig Therefore I Ride" written on it too. Though that may be better saved for a normal t-shirt.
I agree vests are kinda shitty to work in and are an extra layer in summer and an awkward layer over your warm stuff in winter.
No from me lets Keep it simple, every ones got a vest, or a Fluoro shirt is it just an unnecessary expense?
I like the idea of people being able to buy a digging t-shirt... I think they have these at Glenrock. Helps create an ownership of the project.. they can wear it proudly at other times as well. Its a way to be part of the whole process.
So maybe we just need a cheap run of yellow or orange t-shirts which are kind of visible but with some cool statement and logo on them.
Good idea Tim, Might be an idea to email Get Shirty and ask them for a price. I think there is a fair chance Sean may be interested in sponsoring this initiative as they are local and run events on these very same trails under Mountain Sports. They run events at Knapsack and the Nepean Odyssey uses the Oaks single.
That would explain a friend request from Melanie on Facebook. Co-owner of get shirty.
I wore my BMORC shirt on an NPWS work day at Yellomundee...and realised after 3 hours working in lantana that I really should have worn a long sleeve shirt, and the tee material didn't really suit such a day either - it was susceptible to getting caught by the lantan
So, I'm keen on a long sleeve cotton or similar shirt for workdays. I don't mind hi-vis or not
light blue columiba type shirts are great or the long sleeve goso shirts.
