hi there,
Anyone know how to remove the dust caps? Trying to convert from QR to thru bolt.
Recently did the rear and the caps came straight off.
These ones at the front aren't willing to come off without a fight though and I don't want to break anything.
Thanks

Ive got some DT Swiss wheels im selling cause i have QR15 and they're 9mm. Theyre such good wheels though i would like to hang onto them.

I just went through a similar thing with my front hubs trying to convert them from 15-20mm - they are some sort of rebadged DT Swiss hub.
I think the 240 hub end caps screw off - might need a soft jaw vice to hold them. Most other DT hub end caps seem to pull off.

So, they're not screwed on but were just really reluctant to come off.
After reading your post I remembered that I recently bought this nifty little table vice (15$ @ aldi)
Jammed the cap in it and hinged the wheel off. All good.
Thanks guys

do the size of the bearings look like it can be converted?

@ Tate,
I converted from QR skewers to 9mm RWS front and 10mm rear.
I'm sure I've seen a kit for QR to 15mm at either Jenson or CRC.
there was a fair bit of room at the bearings but I've already put it back together so can't tell you for sure if 15 will fit....maybe check the dt website...
Cheers
