Anyone been to yellomundie in the last week?

Is it still very wet? We are looking to go on Sunday.

Thanks

Trail status is from beginning of week so no work would have been done since , sounds like its still in bad shape out there .

There is only about 5 km of rideable track. The 2 towers of power descents have been washed away including the mini switchback bridge.

Everything south of Shaws farm driveway is also gone. Shaws Creek bridges are also gone but you can't get this far anyway.

My advice would be to stay clear of Yellomundee for a while.

The archaeological report is almost finished and then hopefully WSMTB can get the place fixed up better than ever.

.... nothing much has changed, except some bits have firmed up a bit. The lower end of the southern fire road towards the Causeway is still a quagmire!

So you could get in some nice 5-6 km loops - but no really long loops which used to include the parts north of Shaws Farm.

We were out there today with NPWS and BMORC clearing lantana - a great effort by all.
