Kinross Forest - Trail maintenance
The city of Orange is around 4 hrs from Sydney and 3 hrs from Canberra. Kinross State Forest is situated on the northeast edge of town, a 10 minute drive or 20 minute ride from the Orange town centre.
Meet at the Bulgas Road carpark, Western edge of the forest.
To make sure that our trails are in good nick for the big Single Track Mind 7hr Race on the 29th April (the following weekend) we are looking for helpers to come out to work on a few sections of track Sunday morning.
There's also a few bits of illegally dumped rubbish that would be good to remove too.
If anyone knows of any spots on the STM track that need work then let us know. On the whole the track is riding pretty well but we might as well have a crack.
I believe we mostly need to work on:
- The top of "Bogan's run" just before dead pig dam
- The start of "Berm me up Scotty".
Meet at 9am at the car park. We'll try to clean up a bit around there, then head up to the trails soon after.
Were you there and have a story to tell?

FYI
* Bogan's run goes from near the top of TTT to dead pig dam on the left (west) of the moto'd and often boggy 'fire trail'.

* Berm Me Up Scotty (formerly Barry's Track) is near the end of the Goat Track Extension to near the top of the North Shore
