Tentative planning for a second Lantana Lash @ Mundee.
Aside from the benefits of clearing the bugger of a weed and opening up views of the river, The kind mundee rangers have started the ball rolling on a possible IMBA workshop with a more practical hands on trail building focus.
Gotta give to get as they say so it would be nice if we had +20 people at this shindig.
Aiming for the weekend of the 19th / 20th May ... subject to confirmation from NPWS.
Early RSVP is important so we can plan for the day.
Its hard work, but frack it was satisfying and I'm looking forward to another IMBA workshop. Hope to see more people coming to these things.

20th will be out due to club race.

As Tim pointed out ... 20th is WSMTB race day. Nocturnal Oaks is the 12th and too soon ... so trying for the 26th (TBC).
Note: We are currently ironing out IMBA workshop details, but as incentive ... positions will be open to active vollies as priority and any remaining positions filled once all the regulars are happy.
So get involved.
Looking like May 27th ... or sometime in June.
Let me know if 27th is OK or prefer sometime in June say weekend of the 9th or 16th

May was a little crowded with NPWS activities ...
Would be good to get 12 to 20 peeps at this gig.
We are looking for a core group of regulars that will be trained up as Trail Bosses or Supervisors for trail work at Knapsack and Oaks etc etc.
This core group will be IMBA trained, as well as be involved in the trail design and planning. The bigger this group the more we can rest people or absorb the inevitable family & work conflicts and uhmmmm share the riding.
so get involved.
The 20th of may is the next landcare day I will be there for that.
Ok the 9th of june is good for me lantana is a better work out than a ride.

I don't really care but just mindful it might impact numbers. Comments are good.
20th of may is the normal landcare groups day.So its still lantana work just not the area we started with wsmtb/bmorc.As soon as I know more details I will post them up normally 9 am at lower gate long shirt/pants hat all you need.
