Details:
Planning on riding Ando's Oaks tomorrow morning. Late notice I know but happy to have some company if anyone is keen.
Pace will be fairly quick - probably no stops except for a top up of water and a nibble if needed. In saying that, if others come along we'll pace the ride to suit.

If I wasn't spent from the convict today I would at least do Ando's with you.
Single speed? How did you go?
I was real happy with the result coming 1st in the 100 single speed, time was 4:46.

P.S. - Less than a minute 2 second place, close finish.
How was the ride Ian?
Yeah Giles, he past me like I was standing still at about 20k to go, I had hit the wall after not eating consistently through sections of the race but had just thrown down a heap of food hoping to come back. I caught him again at around 5k left, and we were together for about 2k but I was still slowly coming good and able to pull away that minute on him over the last stretch.
It's very difficult to get enough carbs in to fuel my near 100keg self, something I need to work on because I always get it wrong.
If I was to have just gels, that is 1 gel every 15 minutes or about 18 gel packs!!
Ride was good Steve.
Did it pretty quick, only 1 short stop to remove my thermal and have a pee at the top of the Andos climb. Around 2hr40min station to station I think.
Quick? I think I heard a sonic boom out there somewhere.....
