Details:
Following a GPX link I downloaded into the Garmin for first lap. After that will probably do more laps or just explore for a couple more hours. Trying to get some km's in after 5 week illness so not looking to stop too often but won't be a cracking pace either. I suspect somewhere between the 15-20km/hr mark on average

Thinking of visiting friends in the mountains is knapsack rideable ?
Should be all good.
My mate went there today and was unsure where to go so he rode around a bit and ended up going the downhill section and walking the bike back up is there any signs for xc tracks or follow your nose ?
No signs yet, so follow your nose. I have marked a good loop on Open Street Maps.

You can see the green outline on the tracks. Might be able to e-mail you a GPX file if it helps.
I will go for an explore when I get the chance or if a ride comes available on the weekend are you allowed to place markers on trees or make signs ? Or I will download a map and try to follow it
Council will be putting up signs when the XC loop is completed. Please don't touch the trees, a few of us local riders and walkers tend to get pissed off by it.
One of the other local riders might offer to show you around.
