I'm working so won't be able to make it unfortunately. Be aware that today the construction guys were putting up temporary fencing along their road works which has completely blocked off stages 2 and 3. 6:30 will be long after they leave for the day so I'm sure you can go through it with no worries, but it is there.

Hey Flynny. Stage 3 might be a bit rough yet for a night ride and as the previous post mentioned, council decided to put the road to the velodrome straight through the middle of the track so take care. Ryan Walters has been doing a terrific job in building the track and just posted a YouTube clip of stage 3 along with a very energetic dog.

Doubts it's as rough as the trails we normally ride at night but I'm using the above info (and crappy road conditions tonight)as an excuse to Pyke on tonight's rider

Shame about the road construction. I thought the original plan and funding was for a rail crossing at the bottom of hill of vale rd

For want of two boom gates the council has decided to SPAN THE HILL with a road costing who the hell knows how much. In any case I was up there earlier today, looks like they're done with the surface prep and have left the fences open along the trail, so its easily rideable.
