You lost almost 2kg just from wheels!? What other blingy parts have you been bolting onto your bike Lorrie!

you still have to add on the weight of the wheels Eye-wink

or maybe he was talking about his road bike now weighing 12.4kgs

Wow - just imagine how much easier it will be for Lorrie to break his bike not it has lightweight components!

The Bikes that Andrew broke ;-)

Ahhh... I never tire of pulling that picture out! Eye-wink

I'm pretty sure that was with a full waterbottle in the frame as well Eye-wink It was the scales at renegade cycles. so take the issue up with them (or Steve's scales...)

The old wheelset was 3-4 years old and it had:
DH rims
XT hubs
Tubes (no more!!!!)
Equivalent LX type weighty steel cassette

I got it with some package at the Birmingham Bike Expo hence the stupid nature of the DH rims, it also came with ready to go LX brakes and for 200 GBP and for my first set of MTB wheels i couldn't say no!

I had sooo much fun riding round OF and RH yesterday!!! It was a lot grippier!

Andrew

PS I did not touch the silver bike! It wasn't mine! haha

Whoa!!! Don't let Lorrie even look at your bikes - he does it using Telekinesis!

Hey Lorrie besides the new wheelset, to get it down to 12.4kgs did you also swap out the standard (and heavy) Specialized parts like pivot points, bolts, frame, etc.
