Customer Service/Warranty:
I purchased a Sigma Light set in Germany and brought it back.

Works very well and was good Value.
One of the Lights gave up and I went to the LBS.
The LBS was great and sent it in to the Sigma Rep.
They/he did not want to know anything about the light, as it was not purchased in Aus, but the same Light is sold in Aus, especially in Melbourne I found out!
A little upset, but moving on I sent an e-mail to Sigma in Germany and ask which way we could fix the Light?
Sigma in Germany ask me to sent the Light to them and if seen to be faulty the Light will be replaced free of charge!
I sent it on the 10.9. and it cost me $10.
The Light has been replaced and I'm a happy customer, Thanks Sigma Germany.
And by the way I did buy my Sigma Cycle Computer here in Aus and will buy things here and there, as I travel to Germany every 2 years sometimes every year.

sounds good they sorted you out. yeah all aus importers wont touch stuff bought outside of aus, well thats the risk you take, good to see you got new ones tho.

.. yes, that's the risk I take, and I have no problem with it!
But I do not see the sense in it!!! These Companies are Global Companies and therefore should look after there Product wherever in the world it is used, not sold!!!
we import Polypropylene pipe from Germany, the Importer to NZ sent the same pipe to a Dairy Farm in Aus and we look after it from here (Technical Support, Service ect. and made no $ on any of it!!)
It is not that hard...
