Anyone heard or know (first hand or second hand) anything good or bad about the diamondback mission models?

Thinking of getting one for my next bike but wanna hear a bit about them.

I got the mission 3 late last year, they were on sale and seemed to have all the right bits that matched the asking price when compared to the other bikes I looked at, after all they are just a frame with a collection of other vendors bits that you can easily check prices on to work out value.

my comments

solid bike, although perhaps a little heavy.
I like the front axle release mechanism.
I've only broken a chain so far.

If I had my choice again, I think that I'd spend a little more time researching frame geometry.. perhaps that's got something to do with the amount of time I've been OTB? or perhaps its just a combination newbie stupidity, bad technique, lack of speed and frame geometry Cool

cheers
