Lithgow Pony Club
We are hosing a state DH again this year. this time at the Brand new Pony Xpress trail, http://ctmbc.net/node/33336
As usual we need volunteers for marshaling and timing to make sure it all runs smoothly.
The event runs Saturday the 18th and Sunday the 19th of August, 8-4. Any help would be greatly appreciated
You get your own section of track to control and full access to the best viewing of all the thrills and spills.
Whether you can donate the full weekend or just an hour or two your help would be greatly appreciated
BMORC meets with NPWS
Last week BMORC reps met with Tina from NPWS to talk about the existing Oaks Single track (aka Twitter Trail), how to improve on safety and erosion control.
It was decided that our first priority would be pruning back the eye whipping branches. This improves user safety. The rider will be able to keep an eye on where they are going with an improved line of sight and not need to keep ducking.
BMORC will be assembling a small team of volunteers to work with NPWS.
There are many items on the agenda and future discussions will be taking place.
