What bird is this?
G'Day all,
I know an MTB forum is probably not the ideal place for this but it is in off-topic.
Today I had a bunch of these birds (see pics) start chewing on the handrail of the back deck. There were about 15 of them and they hung around for about 20 minutes then left and some came back a couple of hrs later.
I tried looking up the type of bird but couldn't find them anywhere. So does anyone know what type of bird they are and are they common in the mountains because I've never seen them before.

IT Boffins - Browser issues

I've just picked up a new laptop which is using windows 7.
I'm finding that I can't get into certain websites ... netbank or http://www.openstreetmap.org/ as examples
it pretty much gets half way and hangs ...
I've mucked around with the security settings ... turned off my fire walls and generally stuffed about blindly.
I've just installed firefox, and its improved the speed of accessing the sites that I could previously access ... but no go with the other problem sites.
