I will be parking at Glenbrook and then catching the train back from Woodford.

The 'back' part in that implies you are going to ride up the trail then get the train back down. As that's a silly option I presume you mean you will be parking at Glenbrook, taking the train up to Woodford then riding down?

* Trains will not operate.
* Buses replace trains between Lithgow and Blacktown. Replacement buses do not operate to the train timetable.
* Suburban trains operate between Blacktown and the City.
* Please allow an additional journey time of up to 60 minutes.
* Zig Zag Railway customers will need to alight at the Clarence bus stop.
* CountryLink: Customers travelling to Lithgow to connect with CountryLink coaches are advised to phone 132 232 for confirmation of departure times.

And that is why I have never taken the Glenbrook > Woodford train option

IMHO I think everyone should just eat more Concrete Flakes™ and drink more ManUp™ and ride The Oaks up
