After a discussion involving some alternative considerations I decided to change to an 18t. When I went for a test ride the new tensioner fell apart. Upon inspection I discovered the internal spring had broken. Not one to be easily defeated I pulled apart an old XTR derailleur (I seem to have a lot these just lying around) and used the spring in my new tensioner. I now have an adjustable rear screw tensioner with high quality XTR parts. Sweet..... all should be good to go on Wednesday.
Bummer. I was getting used to your regular breakdowns and having a chance to catch my breath.
I got back no problem, I actually got back earlier than usual. Met 2 guys at the helipad they where heading down.
Sounds like the SS went well then, the Slingshot sure looked good. We had some fun, Steve's car got egged back Glenbrook while we were talking.
Dam eggers chipped the paint on my tray. grrrrr
