Blue Mtn locals,
I'm taking my son and mates to skateboard Glossop Rd at Lake Woodford tomorrow.
Fairly certain that there has been no fire activity in the last week, but don't want to travel from the beaches to find access blocked.
Any locals know whether or not the road is open at the moment?
Any info appreciated.

There has been a lot of fire activity in the last week, and helicopters were still water bombing much of today (Sat 26) in Faulconbridge

They say almost all of the park is closed with a review on Monday.
I was hoping to cycle there tomorrow. It seems not.
However the first couple of km of Glossop Rd after the gate are outside the NP. Much irritation as parks regularly try to prevent locals walking their dogs on land that's not theirs!! Have a good look at the map, stay out of the park and you are probably good

Will be sticking to the road just after the gate. Maybe next time I'll take the bike and do a little exploring myself.
