I could be talked into the madness of this if someone is heading up with spare seat.
Anyone out there silly enough to want to join me?

Actually... I would be rather keen for this but it clashes with Steve's silly training ride. Hmmmmm... decisions, decisions.

Flynny's picture

According to Garmin last nights test ride had almost 370m of rise and fall each lap. 3 laps = 1000m climbing in under 36km... That's half the rise and fall of the DW in a third the distance. What better training do you want Eye-wink

Cheers for fixing the map rob, I had a brain freeze...

Give this a go, the 8 hr track was good and this is supposed to be better so with my recent obsession with training you never never know.
Pjordan. I'll be leaving from Woodford, so if you can get here, I can get you there. I may go for a practice lap on Sat. but would return home to sleep and back in the morning.

Well done to Carlgroover, He took out is category with ease....

Carlgroover's picture

But ease wasn't a word in my head during or just after the race, however I did beat the field of 12 in Masters (the 40-50 age group) by approximately 90 seconds. Yes it seems I'll be doing the series now that I'm the leader. Shocked

That'll teach ya! Eye-wink

Well done Mr Groover!

I could start selling my training tips if this run keeps up, also got a 3rd at the club round last week. Smiling

Also did very well Mtbasn.alex came third in his cat. and Supagav was in 2nd place in expert men when he got a pain in his knee and thought it safer to stop with only 1 lap to go in a 3 lap race.
Nice work boys!
John.
