I want to build up a resource database. I hear people make quotes from documents and I often would like to know where they come from, Some examples "Mountain Bikes are sold more than Road bikes" and "There are more middle aged men Riding bikes than there is playing Golf"

Those who attended the NPWS consultation days last year may have noticed a small mousy woman asking you to sign a petition against mountain bikes.

It seems she has been pretty dogged with this over the last 6-8 months and has gathered 500 signatures by spending much of her weekends at local shopping malls. This has resulted in a 2-page spread in Peninsular Living this month. What follows is my proposed response.

You may wish to write to Peninsular Living, Brad Hazzard, and Warringah Councillors touching on similar themes.

Make your voice heard! Kuringgai Council is currently running a 'vote for' feature on their Facebook page.

Looking at the numbers (five so far) from the MTB community registered to attend Hornsby Shire Council meeting this coming Wednesday evening, we are not going to make a big enough impression with those numbers.
