Meeting Point:

Glenbrook station carpark.

Details:

Just a social ride, not a race. I have not done much riding the last 6 months so going up the hills wont be quick, but going down should be fun. Not really for beginners, but if you starting out and want to get lights (good lights) and have a go then send me a PM to discuss. Gets pretty cold this time of year so make sure your rugged up to begin with and then be able to shred off some gear once you hit a hill or two.

Meet around 7pm in the car park where you should be ready or semi ready to ride. The train leaves at 7.12pm and arrives at Woodford at 7.42pm. You need time to get a ticket before the train gets there, so be prepared. Can't really wait for anyone who misses the train sorry. There is a picnic type area to stop at the end of the big decent to the gates so bring something to eat if you like and we can stop there for 20 mins or so.

Call yourself a mountain biker?

Sticking out tongue

Muninjitsu's picture

Yes I do, and have the common sense to know my limits.

putting warmer clothes on? Eye-wink

With the weather the way it is today I don't think it will be all that pleasant.

Haha, he's saying you are soft Char. Smiling

It won't be to cold, just go a bit earlier and it will be fun. Hathill and I rode up and back one cold winters night, it was really cold when we turned around and rode back down. The first hill warmed me up again.

I know he's calling me soft, maybe I am, but I'm still staying home.

Can I suggest you increase your daily intake of Concrete Flakes™ also an extra sprinkle or three of Nails wouldn't do any harm either.

Eye-wink
