Mid Winter Nights* Screaming 4hr
Park at the Rydal Showground
It's cold and dark in the Rydal forest. Very cold. Very Dark.
And when the sun goes down things emerge... Hairy, scary things.
They glide through the forest, some times silent, some times emitting eery sounds. Curses, unholy laughter, screeching, the whoop of the chase.
They are shunned by decent society and called many names. Outcasts. Rebels. Maniacs. but they call themselves mountain bikers.
Are you brave enough to join them?
Mid Winters Night* Screaming 4hr
Will take place on July 14th* from 2.30pm to 6.30pm

Tour de Winmalee + Springwood Sports Club
End of White Cross Rd, Winmalee, NSW. There's a small parking area here but it's a standard suburban street so overflow isn't a problem.
Bring your lights and head out to GHS from White Cross. Back down the other side avoiding the forbidden bits and back to the cars.
Head in to Springers for tea at the Sports Club afterwards for those interested/hungry/etc.

WSMTB XC Round 1
There's a car park (click for foggy picture) on Springwood Road - just down the way from Hawkesbury Heights if you're looking for a suburb name.
Sorry all - another cancellation. We did a track inspection this arvo (Sat 17th) - but after 22mm of rain on Friday night there was more water GUSHING down the tracks than on the previous Sunday when we did some track work.
So, the message is - please stay off Yellomundee for a while longer!

The Trig Ride
Meeting at the corner of Hawkesbury rd and Halcyon Avenue at 8am.
Outside the nursery, do not park in the nursery car park.
Ok, so this is the once in a lifetime ride that very few people have ever done, let alone heard of, the day will include, riding, mountain climbing( with bike over your shoulder ), breif bit of road riding, bit of yellowmundee xc track, a heap of bush bashing etc etc.
I have deliberately kept numbers down for the fact there will be a lot of passing bikes up to each other, and a big group would hinder this, we must ensure that food and heaps of fluid is bought along, i have written 6 hours but it may take longer, so beware!
Blue Mountains Sunday Early Morning
Glenbrook station carpark.
Meet at Glenbrook and get the 6.53am train up to Wentworth Falls. Come back via Andersons and The Oaks firetrail. I am hoping it clears up a bit until Sunday, I don't intend to ride in the rain.
I have never done the Andersons, but have GPS .
I would appreciate feedback from some of the locals (Chuck, Username2?) whether we can or should ride the trails under the current weather conditions. I would assume that we should probably leave out The Oaks single trail and stay on the dirt road instead.
Cheers,
Volker
