Solo or Partner up? Wylde 4hr
I'm trying to decide if I should attempt the 4hr solo or find a partner to team up with for a pairs race. Heading there today for a couple of trial laps.
If I was to take it on solo, what is your nutrition recommendation for this 4 hour.
Kanangra Classic Enduro 2012
There was a fair amount of take up from BMORC guys last year for Kanangra so thought I would post the basic details of this years Kanangra Classic.
Date: 20/21st October 2012
Schedule of events:
Saturday 20th:
** 50km Trail Run
** 24km Prologue Ride (fundraiser for NPWS)
Sunday 21st:
** 50km Ride
** 100km Ride
** You can do a run on Saturday and ride on Sunday to make up a Duathlon time if you are mad and crazy!
We have worked closely with NPWS to get Jensens clearing opened up for camping this year (this was the event hub last year).
Entries are now open.
W2G Classic Entry Problems
For the benefit of those trying to enter....Woodford to Glenbrook Classics entries were s'posed to open at 8am tis morning but web page has failed to show the required link. I've just spoken to Careflight and they've been told there are problems with the third party providor doing the entry system. They've informed me they hope to have it all up and running by tomorrow morning.

ENDURO version of the Dirty Triathlon - Sunday 20th March.
Mountain Sports is proud to announce the highly anticipated (and by “anticipated” we mean “feared”) “Dirty Triathlon ENDURO“. The event will serve as both a great challenge and the Inaugural season finale, sort of like an “end of year muck up day – but harder and not at the end of the year”…. Although no points will go toward the Series Leaderboard – we will be presenting the prizes for the Dirty Tri Series after the Enduro Event.
The event is a chance to challenge yourself, compete with friends, initiate friends to the event in a team format, enjoy a chat and a BBQ brunch…

Anybody want to come down to the mundee to partner me at the 4 hour race, do about 4 laps each, good fun is guaranteed!...not serious maniac racing!

CTMBC host Tuesday night racing from 6pm. We were at Lidsdale but since the logging trucks rolled in have been hitting some new stuff at Rydal.
We get a few Bluies locals along and are always happy to welcome more.
We're not serious racer boys, you go as hard as you want, try and beat you previous times or your mate and just have a bit of fun.
