NSW NPWS mountain biking public forum (Springwood)
Springwood Country Club, Hawkesbury Rd, Springwood
As some may know, the National Parks and Wildlife Service has released a discussion paper on mountain biking opportunities in the state's national parks and reserves. They have invited comment on the proposals in the paper and help shape our Cycling Policy and Mountain Biking Strategy. This paper can be downloaded here:

Although no official communication has been made, we have it on good authority that this date/time/place is set for the Springwood public forum on this topic.

Blue Mountains Council Meeting needing lots of Rider Support!!!!
In the area outfront of the building.. you go in the side door to the left. Meet inside wherever, just be there.
Council meeting about Old Bathurst Road and downhill on the escarpment which has further ramifications for all riders in the mountains in all disciplines.
It is very important to get numbers there and lots of them. Not sure whether it will be a wear helmets thing but maybe try and look like a rider.... maybe being fit, healthy and happy is enough to make us stand out.
Its not a big chunk out of your lives, requires no preperation and is interesting to see how your council works as well.
Tell all your riding budies about it too.
