Friday Night Grose Head South..this friday night
Anybody interested in a night ride at grose head this friday night, we are meeting near the nursery at app:7pm
Pace will be casual, lots of mucking around!!
I will be there as will my daughter Mel and a couple of other riders!..Deadparrot and Kisma off bmorc will be there also!

It's about adopting a trail that you ride
By that he means not being afraid to perform a bit of maintenance when needed
And being a giver to your trails, not just a taker
Everyone here should give it a read and 'adopt' at least some of the attitude expressed
Plus it's a great little independent mag that needs our support
Anyway, I know myself that sometimes I've only got a short period of time to fit in a ride
So I'll ride past things that need to be done

I was discussing with Andy Bloot today and suggested we become organised enough to maybe throw in a $5.00 donation on each group ride. This could be used towards trailer hire or tipping fees when cleaning sites to give us the positive profile we are looking for.

Thanks all for the great ride today. It was good to meet some like minded blokes. Looking forward to some more rides. 10 points to Kingy for his ghetto tyre mending skills, not to mention his massive big ring wheelies (show off)..
Anyone who is interested, I hit up Yellowmundi with some mates for night rides on Thursdays. We usually get out there about 7pm. Won't be making it this coming Thursday as i'm away in the country side for work, but will be there the following week.

Thought I'd introduce myself here.
My name is Nathan Bell. I'm 26, and I grew up in Winmalee and have been mountain biking (DH/DJ/XC etc) since forever. I live in North Syd now, but my fam are still all up there so I bring one of my bikes each time I head up.
I signed up here cause I thought it was a shame to loose OBR (which is where I learned to DH in the early part of the decade) so I'm here to tag along on some rides and show my support to further increase the riding opportunities up there.
Boy things have changed around here
I think I will need to move to the lower mountains as I am obviously conservative and well resistant to change.
I think I liked the other format better ... soz Mog 
... those emoticons where just way cool ... resist change.

Some comments on the setup of the new forums.
These are the new forums for the BMORC and should be the final home for all this stuff.
If there was something on the old forums that you would like to repost here please feel free to do so. Old forums can still be accessed at
http://amun.webcity.com.au/~bmo31062/forum/
but don't post there anymore because they are going to become redundant.
These new forums will get the new sections organised over time and there will be some common useful linked content with nobmob and ctbmtb.
