BMORC Jeresy II (ZeroFive)

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

I have made some inquiries in regards to getting Custom Made Jerseys from Mark at ZeroFive

To get the best price we will need to order a minimum of 16 items. He did say a mix order of tops will be ok.
A 50% deposit will be required before any custom designs are commenced. If we get an order of 31+ plus items he will quote for a cheaper price.

Once design has begun, he will create 3 concepts. We can then review and request alterations if we like and repeat several times.

MTB tyres

Does anyone have any 26", 2.1 or wider, tyres they want to get rid of? I need a set for the tandem, the slicks are a bit dicey on the dirt.
New or used, will pay for them.

[Mod. moved to chat as this is a general request not discussion of MTB gear]

Jersey Order II

Jersey order two

Looking to see what interest if any there is on a second jersey order.

I won't be changing the design ... although was thinking an Orange version would be good for trail days ...

Anyway initial planning ... minimum order is 30 units so won't bother if we don't have numbers.

Pricing is $30 from memory.

Hunting in National Parks protest rally- Saturday 30th June, 2012, 10am, Glenbrook National Park

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

Premier Barry O’Farrell has introduced laws to allow hunting in our national parks.

Opening our national parks to armed hunters threatens the safety of bushwalkers, campers and other park users. It also endangers our native flora and fauna and puts the world heritage status of
many national parks at risk.

Say NO to Mr O’Farrell’s laws by taking part in a Blue Mountains community protest bushwalk this Saturday 30th June 2012 at 10am.
Meet at the Blue Mountains National Park entrance, Bruce Road, Glenbrook

Mt.St.Anne Downhill world cup / Finals

Another round of the world cup, and another spectacular day of racing, this was the 4th round and the racing is getting tight and awfully exciting, with soem unbelievable highlights.
: Aaron gwin riding perfect and loose and fast.
:Sam Hill getting quicker by the round without seeming to take too many risks.
: A lot of top 10 riders taking huge risks to try and keep up with Gwin.

Mt ST.Anne round 4 downhill qualifying

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

Qualifying for round 4 has been done and dusted with the status quo firmly in place, the order seems a little confusing, are riders holding back?..are they waiting for race day to show there hands?, this maybe so with so many riders having ridden here over the years.

Downhill World Cup..3 rounds in!

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

Well its 3 rounds in and some very interesting things have happened, firstly i will give a report after each round from now until seasons end, secondly due to being super busy(read lazy), i havent been able to write a report for the first 2 rounds, so to summarize the first 2 rounds, firstly is Pietermarizburg, in the mens the script went Minnaar first, Gwin in second, what was prominent is that gwin didnt thrash the field by 10 seconds, in what is a pedal fest with a flat pedally section that goes for about 13kms i think, the Australians were Brosnan in 5th, Hill in 11th and Graves and Hanna

Be Careful at Scribblies

Just heard a recent report from one of the local walkers finding the trail booby trapped with sharpened sticks in a few places where people could get some air. Apparently the walker felt it was so bad they reported it to the police. So a big thanks to that chap!

I don't know when this happened but apparently this was recently done. Thought it was worth passing on.

There have been a few other things over the years, got to wonder whether it is the same people?

So basically keep your eyes open if you ride there and maybe take it a little easier if you are the first one around.
