You have been warned :O

Beware of inviting you "Corsair Bikes" riding mate along to your local trail as evidence is emerging of some very suspect behavior from the aforementioned.
It has been communicated to me (unknown source) that this suspect behavior manifests after buying/owning/riding Corsair bikes and can be contagious.

Cadel - the face of Australian World Supremacy

Who watched it, the time trial effort Cadel put in last night was fantastic. Just goes to show that an Australian mountain biker can rain world supreme. I expect to be very tired at work tomorrow.

Living with the effects of a severe head trauma.

I found this on the Dirt Rag site and thought it interesting. This isn't an attempt to start a helmet vs no helmet debate.

Who here actually "trains"?

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

Does anyone here have a training regime? By training I don't mean just going out and riding. I mean stuff like intervals, hill repeats, using a heart rate monitor blah blah blah.

I've never been one to follow any type of program for anything. I usually just let things run their course. For example, if a ride/race of a certain distance is coming up, I make sure I've adequately covered that distance over a day or 2 in the weeks leading up to the ride. The only thing I make sure I address is hills, as I hate 'em. This is not too much of a problem as I commute to Penrith and back.

Craig Gordon hit and run.

Word on the street is that Craig Gordon was the victim of a hit and run in the last day or 2 and is in hospital with a broken back.

Can anyone confirm this? Kingy?

Winter Magic Anyone?

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

There's a bitter wind blowin' on the mountain ridges today.

Riding home into a 20 knot headwind, wind-chill minus 5, ears just lumps of frozen gristle stuck to the side of my head, a few words sprang to mind but magic wasn't one of them.

Until I got to the Bakehouse on Wentworth, that is. Lots of magic happening in that place. I burnt my mouth in seventeen places wolfing down one of their parcels of joy.
