Nice and dry. Some parts of the park are closed due to erosion from the rains earlier in the year and are regenerating. Signs are displayed. Shame some of the more technical and challenging sections are closed off, presumably due to heavy erosion. A huge amount of Lantana has been cleared. Well done to those responsible.

Thanks Peter,

WSMTB is progressively working around the damaged sections to repair them. We will be out there on Sat 6 Oct (from 8.30am) doing some work on hill below the 2nd Tower of Power (ie just below the hairpin bend in Springwood Rd). All welcome of course! Free BBQ lunch provided.

The area north of Shaws Ck is still closed off due to the missing bridges. That's a bigger project on the list!

The recent lantana clearing in the area between the Start clearing and Shaws Farm has been carried out by NPWS contractors. The clearing east of the bottom section of the Mot0-X track and the river has been done by WSMTB/BMORC/NPWS.
